In November 2020, we received a call from a journalist from Channel One who wanted to record news about Drakar. We recorded a short interview in which he asked me about my plans for the future. My brain worked out what to answer in seconds, and the answer looked like this: we should open our workshop in autumn 2021, which is exactly one year from now.
We hadn't talked about it before, and it was like a very vague dream, but as soon as the dream was spoken out loud, my brain immediately drew pictures of what our workshop would be like, how Kakha and I would work, how we would drink beer in our workshop with friends in the evenings, and so on...
These images were so clear and comprehensible that my brain already perceived it as a programme and on its own, without my special intervention or effort, began to think about how to fulfil this dream of mine and to find ways that had previously seemed completely blocked and unimaginable...
After overcoming many difficulties, exactly one year after this interview, we already had our own workshop, Kakha and I were totally focused on this activity, and even drank beer in the evenings with friends in our workshop...
Here I'm quoting Charlie Chaplin's motivational statement on the same subject:
You'll never see a rainbow if you never look at the sky...
Dream big and then live your dreams...
With love,
Drakar
